Longridge Town are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Hyuga Tanner on a one-year deal!
Hyuga joins town from fellow Ribble Valley side Clitheroe on a duel registration basis having impressed manager Lee Ashcroft in training over the last few weeks.
The 23 year-old is a well recognised talent who'll provide further fire power going forward, playing behind the strikers having learnt his trade at football league sides Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers.
Since then, Hyuga has played at local side Bamber Bridge and as previously mentioned Clitheroe from where he has come to join Longridge as a dual registration.
Ashey sung Hyuga's praises when asked about the signing, telling longridgetownfc.com "I've been after this lad for a long time, he has trained with us and all I can say is outstanding. He's my kind of player and I can't wait to see him in a Longridge shirt"
Hyuga himself added "I'm delighted to have signed for Longridge Town, I'm really excited to get going with a great bunch of lads"
Everyone at Longridge Town would like to give Hyuga a warm welcome to the club and are looking forward to working with him for the 2020/2021 season.
