Longridge were forced to settle a point away at 2nd place Ramsbottom United.
Town took the lead early doors through Jack Anderton, only to be pegged back less than ten minutes later.
Leighton Hewitt fired Town back infront with 15 minutes to go, but a 92nd minute leveller from former Preston North End and Stoke City attacker Jacob Holland-Wilkinson saw the game end level.
The efforts of the Town players deserved that at minimum.
There was one change to the XI, with Luke Smith coming in for Paul Turner.
As the game kicked off, Town began on the front foot.
Josh Ashe worked the loose ball over to Anderton with 6 minutes played.
The winger danced past his man before placing a right footed effort into the bottom right corner.
The home side looked for an immediate equaliser, but Daniel Forbes' effort dropped wide of the post.
However the goal would come, as Harvey Hayhurst raced onto a long ball through the middle, rounded Crowe and tapped into the empty net.
Crowe then had to palm away a fierce effort from Leo Thompson.
With 35 minutes gone, Holland-Wilkinson reacted fastest to a cross to smash a powerful volley off the post.
Hewitt sent a tame effort wide from distance moments later as he looked to test the waters.
On the brink of the break, Ashe managed to break through the lines and get in on goal.
A sliding tackle from Maine Walder brought the attacker to the ground.
The referee proceeded to book Ashe for simulation.
As we got underway for the second 45, the hosts began to pile on the pressure.
They even had the ball in the net, but the referee's whistle had already gone for a foul on Ben Fletcher.
Will Procter did well to get a shot off whilst being under a sliding challenge, but Rammy goalkeeper Rose held it.
Lee Ashcroft then made his first and only change, replacing Ryan Katumba with Lucas Wane.
The substitute almost had an immediate impact looking to poke it past Rose, but the 'keeper stood strong to deny him.
He then sent the ball up the Longridge end.
Holland-Wilkinson was there again but fired his effort wide.
The game began to heat up, but the home side convinced they had taken the lead.
Hewitt did brilliantly to head a goalbound effort off the line, with the Ramsbottom players and fans furiously claiming it had crossed it.
The referee however, disagreed.
Moments later, and Crowe had to throw himself down to his left to keep out a close range header.
Moments later, and Town won it back before racing forward on the counter attack.
The ball dropped to Hewitt who sat himself before rifling the ball into the bottom left corner from the edge of the box to spark wild celebrations on and off the field.
The youngster recieved a booking for his troubles.
Anderton almost made it three.
Gough's corner fell at the feet of the attacker who moved back inside before firing wide.
Again, Crowe did fantastically to keep out a header as the Rams searched intensely for an equaliser.
The officials added 6 minutes onto the end of the game.
Unfortunately, despite a brilliant effort from Town, their worst nightmare came true.
After failing to clear their lines down the left, Terry Cummings made his way into the area and squared it for Holland-Wilkinson who made no mistake.
Ramsbottom went looking for an all important winner, but Town held firm until the 100th minute.
The group must be doing something right if we're disappointed with a draw away at Ramsbottom.
The boys now regroup before returning home for a hat-trick of home games to finish the season.
First up, is AFC Liverpool on Wednesday night at Inglewhite Road.
Secondly, is Abbey Hey on the final Saturday home game of the season on the 11th.
Finally, on Tuesday 14th April to host Burscough.
Our final game of the 2025/26 season is Wythenshawe away on the 18th.
Thank you for your fantastic away support today.
Let's get together and push the lads towards a good finish.
