A six goal flurry in the second half saw 3rd place Lower Breck overcome the injury stricken Longridge Town.
Despite a tentative first 45, Town came out firing in the second half and could've found themselves ahead early.
However the high-flying visitors would lean on their quality to seal a big victory.
There was two changes to the XI that came from two behind to draw with Stockport Town on Tuesday, as Finley Devenney took the place of the injured Mitch Marshall.
Tremaine Eastmond also came in Jordan Dainty.
Accrington Stanley loanee James Kemp took to the bench for the first time.
Sheikh Sohna kicked the game off.
Lower Breck had the better start to the game.
Sam Burns was the first to come close as he drove wide from 20 yards out after a cheap possession giveaway from Town.
Kier Barry was then tested twice in quick succession.
Jesse Dowling found himself in behind under the pressure of Ben Trafford.
The attacker could only fire straight into the arms of the 'keeper.
Breck striker Tom Croughan then had a fairly similar effort also kept out by Barry.
Town then managed to wake up and work their way into the game.
They won the first corner of the game through Anderton but Homson-Smith's delivery would be headed away.
Sohna almost went one-on-one with Roberts but Eastmond's through ball was quickly swept up.
Homson-Smith then managed to squeeze through the back line and fire into Roberts' arms.
A powerful volley from Breck right back Michael Fiztgerald fizzed just over the crossbar from the edge of the area as the visitors were inches off a belter.
Breck then came even closer.
Croughan edged inside the box and looked to lob Barry from somewhat close range.
The goalkeeper did well to claw it out, only for it to fall to Burns who lashed it well over.
Rio Alston then managed his first effort of the game for Town as he cut inside from the left wing and shoot.
However Roberts managed to hold it.
Anderton had an effort deflect wide from 20 yards, but Homson-Smith's corner was cleared again.
Following one minute of stoppage time, the whistle blew.
At the interval, ticket number 8228 won the half time pound for the ground jackpot of £70.
A big thank you to everyone who entered once again.
It's always very much appreciated.
Town started the second half like a house on fire.
A long ball from the back sent Anderton on his way.
He beared down on goal and managed to take it past the advancing Roberts, only to be brought down in the proceed, leaving the referee no choice but to point to the spot.
Homson-Smith stepped up, but saw his spot kick hit the top of the crossbar and go over.
This didn't deter Town for the moment though, as Alston almost set Anderton perfectly.
The winger pinged a cross over to his opposite side perfectly, but Anderton couldn't quite make solid contact as the ball sailed through him.
Ashcroft then replaced Sohna with debutant James Kemp.
Breck then took the lead massively against the run of play.
Elliot Hughes managed to squeeze through the Town backline and slide it past Barry to break the deadlock.
However, Town hit back almost immediately.
Seconds later and it was Kemp to pull Longridge level.
Hewitt flicked it over his man's head before driving forward and finding Anderton.
Jack turned and slid it through the defence into Alston.
The winger found his fellow Accy teammate Kemp, who made no mistake from close range.
Despite Town's hard work though, it would all be undone.
Seconds later, again, Burns bagged to put the visitors ahead as he rode a couple of challenges before side footing past Barry at the near post
A few minutes later, Ashcroft made a double change.
Jordan Dainty and Jenson Carter replaced Ben Fletcher and Morgan Homson-Smith.
Ryan McLean took the armband following the departure of the skipper.
However, Sam Burns made it three as he picked out the top corner after being played in down the right.
Three minutes later and it was four.
Jordan Barrow found the bottom corner from the edge of the box as the hosts began to take full control.
Substitute Lewis Buckley then got in on the act as he tapped in from close range.
Jack Anderton cleared off the line in the dying stages with his head as he prevented another.
The full time whistle confirmed a big three points for the visitors who we wish all the very best in their promotion push.
A disappointing day but we go again.
We take a week break for once, as we next venture out to AFC Liverpool next Saturday.
We return home on Tuesday 18th March when we take on National League North side Southport at 7:45pm in the LFA Cup semi finals.
Be sure to get that one in the diary as one of the biggest games in the clubs recent history.
The committee man of the match went to Leighton Hewitt, as did the junior mascot's.
A big thank you to the 216 who came down today to back both sides, and to the Ridge faithful.
We go again.
