Town look to follow on from their empathic 8-1 win over Pilkington in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, by taking this great run of form into Saturday.

It will no doubt be the toughest test of the season so far, with Wythenshawe recently suffering relegation from the Northern Premier Division West.

A call to opposition fans that Wilfrid's Club, just a short walk to the ground is offering member prices for away supporters for 2025/26 season.

As previously announced, Morecambe fans can gain free entry to this fixture.

We ask that anyone driving to the match parks respectfully and with residents in mind.

We have a big car park that accommodates roughly 95 cars on a first come first serve basis.

Pound for the ground will be back on sale on Saturday, following your incredible support on the club fund raiser at the beginning of this season.

Make sure to enter before half time to be in with a chance of winning up to £200 depending on the number of entrees

The Opposistion

Wythenshawe have started the season well, winning 2 out of their 3 opening games.

It's no surprise either, with the attacking prowess that James Kinsey has at his disposel.

Bryan Ly, fresh off the back of 15 goals for Bury last season, has rejoined his old club and scored a belter in their 3-1 win at Chadderton.

He joins back up Darrhyl Mason, forming a fearsome strike partnership.

Former Bury and Altrincham man Darius Palma will also be charging down the wing at the weekend too.

Town will be looking to put their previous two games against Wythenshawe behind them, after they were promoted back in 2024.

Which they did well enough against FC St Helens.

Team News

Liam Atkinson scored five goals overall in the FA Cup extra preliminary round, making him the top scorer across the country in the Extra Preliminary.

Both Jack Anderton and Jordan Dainty also got off the mark for the season, but Louie Wignall scored twice on his home debut, with both being belters.

Ben Trafford is also back in the squad, with captain Ben Fletcher also expected to be back soon.

Tom McCann also returned from his year long ACL injury, playing in both Saturday's and Tuesday's FA Cup ties.

Manager Lee Ashcroft also gave us his thoughts on the upcoming game:

"We've got a massive game now on Saturday, against Wythenshawe who I think will be right up there come the end of the season.

So we'll see where we are against them".
