Both Longridge Town are Prestwich Heys suffered a difficult season last year.
Heys survived by the skin of their teeth on goal difference in 22nd place, whilst Town settled for an 18th placed finish following a 3 month winless run in the league.
However, both sides have now come on leaps and bounds and find themselves 12th and 13th in the Premier Division respectively, the highest rise out of any sides in the table, joint with Burscough.
It should make for an interesting encounter.
Thank you to SWC Steel Erection for sponsoring tomorrow's game.
The Opposition
As mentioned, Prestwich Heys have had quite the turnaround.
After spending the majority of the 24/25 season rock bottom of the table, Ryan Hutchinson masterminded the great escape to keep Heys in the Premier Division.
They've now enjoyed a much more stressless season, in a comfortable 13th place.
Attacker Takura Sambizi was a massive part of that escape, and he remains the heart of the Heys side.
His 14 goals, 5 MOTM awards and tricky feet makes his a standout player to watch out for.
However, the real impressive side of the Heys side is the defence, conceding just 37 goals, the 3rd least in the divison.
The man at the centre of that being James Badrock.
The stalwart centre back is the experienced head of the backline that gives strikers real issues.
Town closed off the 24/25 season with a 1-0 win over Prestwich, we can guarantee it won't be as easy this time around.

Team News
Midfielder Josh Ashe is available for selection after tomorrow's game.
