Longridge now take on lowly Prestwich Heys who sit at the very foot of the table.

However, with the Ridge not so smart themselves in terms of the form table, Saturday could make for a crucial game for both sides.

The Opposition

The Heys finished 8th last season in a solid season.

However, following a managerial departure in the summer, they now sit rock bottom.

Ryan Hutchinson since took over in late October and will look to guide the Manchester based side to safety by April.

This week's one to watch won't be easy, as is evident by the NWCFL website, which indicates that Heys' squad this season has been the subject of wholesale changes.

With recent talisman Gabriel Mooney-Munoz also moving on, all roads lead to Dylan Fitzgerald.

The attacker has 6 goals in 22 appearances, including 2 MOTM awards.

Heys haven't won in the league since August, when they edged out Squires Gate 1-0.

They did get a win in the Macron Cup recently against Cheadle Heath Nomads.

However, they'll fancy their chances against an out of form and injury ridden Longridge who are looking to get their start of season form back.

Fun fact, their side includes a father and his son, that being Mark and Lewis Ayres.

Team News

New signings Kier Barry and Finley Devenney have helped bolster an otherwise injury stricken defence.

However in a recent great turn of events, Ben Fletcher, Owen Watkinson and Matt Van Wyk returned from their respective injuries that kept them out of the last few months worth of action to play in Saturday's draw with Colne.

Fletch managed to mark his return with an assist, as he set up Liam Atkinson's late equaliser in that game.

Jenson Carter also made his debut off the bench.
