A win on Tuesday would do the Ridge the world of good as they look to establish themselves as a form side in the division.

A game against a side on a rough run might give Town some confidence.

The Opposition

But that's not to discount Pilkington.

Our soon to be visitors scored a comfortable 3-0 victory over Longridge at the Arcoframe Stadium in the reverse fixture.

However, having recently lost six matches on the bounce, the St Helens based club will be desperate to turn their fortunes around.

Striker and top goalscorer Adam Gilchrist caused the Ridge many problems in August and would be our pick for one to watch.

However, partner in crime Taylor Prescott is capable of causing issues too, with the forward bagging the third goal against Town in that match.

Pilkington will be satisfied with their first season back in the Premier Division but will be keen to end their torrid run, making them tough opposition.

Ahead of Tuesday's clash two new players are hoping to be in contention.

Kian Hope has joined from AFC Fylde with the defender set to help bolster the backline.

Ashey has also brought in Obadiaru Odaro, who has experience in the ranks of Kendal Town.
