The Opposition

If you didn't know, this groundhop day will feature a derby.

Padiham are one of the closer sides to Town in the Premier Division, making it always a closely contested game.

There is no doubt that former Longridge Town player Michael Morrison is doing a fantastic job at the reigns of the Storks, as they sit level on points with the playoff places.

They've also proved a nightmare for Town to deal with this season.

With two matches and two defeats Town will be looking to stop the rot against the Burnley based side.

With the likes of Joel Brownhill, Joel Melia and Tyler James leading their line it's no surprise they've been such a big threat, with 42 goals between the front three.

A test against one of the division's form sides will certainly be one for the neutrals to look forward to on Saturday.

Team News

Thankfully following an appeal, Mitch Marshall's red card against against Kendal Town has been rescinded.

This means the defender is no longer set to receive a three match ban.

New signings Kian Hope, Obadiaru Odaro and Malick Diakite Tanou will be looking to impress on their potential debuts as manager Lee Ashcroft looks to bolster the squad as we enter that crucial period.

After this match we will travel to the Isle of Man on Saturday 9th March as we kick off a hat-trick of away matches.

Our next home game after that will be Charnock Richard on Saturday 23rd March with a 3pm kick off time.
