The Ridge face National League side Morecambe with both sides looking for a good test for the new season.

Town are fresh off the back of a George Melling Tournament victory, involving a 3-1 win over Hurst Green and a 3-0 win over Fulwood Amateurs.

Morecambe are now set to offer Town a different type of pre-season test.

Pound for the ground will be on again tonight, make sure to enter before half time to be in with a chance of winning up to £200 depending on the number of entrees.

Your support on the club fundraiser has been second to none.

Info for Visiting Supporters

Any Morecambe fans travelling down for their first visit to Longridge will be happy to know of the great host of pubs for pre-match drinks.

The best include Wilfrid's and the Forest Arms, both of which are no more than a ten minute walk to the ground.

Wilfrid's also offer member prices to away fans.

Of course any travelling supporters are more than welcome to eat and drink in the clubhouse at the ground when the gate opens at 6pm.

Parking is available at the ground on a first come first serve basis.

However if you are disabled please contact us and we will reserve a spot.

A reminder that tonight's fixture is pay on the gate.

And of course dogs are more than welcome at the ground.

We would like to kindly ask though, that supporters are mindful if parking on roads near residents.

The Opposition

Unfortunately, our opponents have had a tough down season so far.

Putting that aside though, we hope to make our visitors as welcome as possible at Inglewhite Road.

Following relegation from the football league, the Shrimps will be looking to bounce straight back but will need a good pre-season to do so.

Tonight is their first game back, Derek Adams has brought in Burton striker Jack Stretton thus far to help bolster his front line.

They have already lost of host of players so he is very unlikely to be the last.

Given that last year ended a 18 year stay in the football league, it always going to be a hectic summer, but everyone at Longridge Town hopes the off-field issues get sorted sooner rather than later.

Town will be looking for their fourth pre-season win in their sixth pre-season game tonight, with the most recent a 3-0 win over Fulwood Amateurs in the George Melling Tournament Final.

Once again a huge thank you for the support over the weekend.

Also a special thanks to the Hurst Green squad who put together £150 towards the MND cause.

Not much can be shared about our personal summer business yet, however retained list news is set to start soon at Inglewhite Road.
