Following a set back, Town look to get back to winning ways against an out of form Kendal.

With three new additions to the squad, all three will be looking to make their home debut.

The Opposition

Despite starting the season like a house on fire, Kendal lie just outside the playoff places.

The Mintcakes won their first 4 league matches of the season, with one of them against Longridge at Parkside Road.

A Robert Wilson penalty on 67 minutes was enough to help the hosts see out the 1-0 victory.

Goals certainly haven't been hard to come by with striker James Bailey sat on 27 goals in 33 matches, the third highest in the division.

The 1919 founded side sat top of the table for a long while but hit a road block towards the end of 2023 and are now second bottom of the form table.

Bar the FA Vase game last season, Town have struggled against Kendal.

However Ashcroft will be keen to get one over on his former side once again as Town look to push away from the bottom half of the table.
