Town travel almost three hours north to take on Northern Premier League side Hebburn Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

As stated above, you can pre-purchase a ticket online before the game, for a swift entrance into the ground.

However, you can just pay on the day if you prefer.

On paper it's a very tough tie, however with two wins in a row and the top goalscorer in the FA Cup, Town will feel confident.

There are still a handful of spaces left for the club coach to and from Hebburn, which sets off from our ground at 9:45am.

It's priced at £20 per person, this includes a breakfast sandwich prior to departure from Inglewhite Road.

If interested, contact our club secretary on lorraineharrison64@gmail.com

There are also a host of pubs within a five minute driving distance radius of the ground.

This includes Longship, The Mill Tavern, Crow Cock Inn, The Wardley and the Cricketers.

During our visit, you'll also get a good view of the river Tyne, especially from the Riverside Park which is located just across the road from the ground.

The Opposition

Town have history with Hebburn.

The Hornets knocked Longridge out of the FA Vase in the round of 16 stage back in 2020.

They were two leagues above Town, as they are now, and scored in the 117th minute to break Longridge hearts in a 1-0 victory at Inglewhite Road.

They then went on to win the whole competition.

Fast forward to modern day and the Hornets sit 17th in the Northern Premier League, following a big 2-0 win away Whitby.

This was following up on a 2-1 win over Cleethorpes.

Both sides head into the game on form.

Striker Gary Martin has bagged four goals in his last three games, marking him out as a big danger man.

It's been needed too, following a tough start.

They'll be up for a third win on the bounce.
