The Ridge are now winless in the league for over a month.
However, two great cup performances in that time have given Town reason to remain positive.
Saturday comes just before a huge away game where we travel to Gigg Lane to take on high-flying Bury.
We will we doing another pound for the ground competition at the weekend where you can win up to £200 at half time as long as you enter before the match's interval.
Tickets cost £1 per entry with the rest of the money raised going towards ground maintenance and club upkeep.
The Opposition
Glossop player-manager Richard Brodie has made the Hillmen tough to play against since taking over.
A couple of weeks ago, ten man Longridge looked set to take all three points at The Asgard Engineering Stadium, but a 95th minute equaliser from Elijah Fisher meant Town had to settle for a point in a 2-2 draw.
On top of this, last weekend they held league leaders Ramsbottom United to a 0-0 draw.
Glossop recently resigned frontman Lewis Reilly after a short spell at Bootle.
His 14 goals this season and Tom Lawless' 9 have been instrumental, especially given the tough start that they had.
However in recent weeks there has been somewhat of a turnaround, making themselves just the second team this season to come away from Gigg Lane with a point.
A win for Glossop on Saturday would essentially see them catch up to Town in the table.
They set a great precedent on Tuesday night, with a 5-0 victory in the FA Vase over North East Counties side Dronfield, which included a Reilly hat-trick.
Information for visiting supporters
Glossop North End brought a fair few to PR3 last season.
As for a pubs, the best two footballing ones in Longridge that also happen to be in close proximity to the ground are Wilfrid's Club and The Towneley arms.
Wilfrid's are kindly offering member prices for Glossop supporters on matchday before and after the game.
Also, we are very dog friendly at the ground.

Team News
Striker Liam Atkinson will be looking to keep up his incredible goalscoring form which has seen him bag 8 goals in his past 4 games.
Town's Luke Smith, Glossop's Marcus Wood and Conal Gallagher were all sent off in the reverse fixture but all are now back and available for this game.
Attacking midfielder Joe Adams got his first goal contribution for the club on Saturday, assisting Atkinson's consolation.
However midfielder Jacob Bridges remains the only squad member without a sponsor.
