The Ridge go in search of a first win in six.

A slow start contributed to the weekend's defeat, but this week now brings another double header at Inglewhite Road, starting tonight.

Thankfully, the side will be bolstered a few returnees tonight... and maybe another new signing.

Check the team news at the bottom of the preview for more.

Thank you to SWC Steel Erection for sponsoring tonight's game.

The Opposition

A turbulent mid-season is causing issues for our soon to be visitors.

Following the departure of manager Jake Davies, an exodus of first team players also followed, with key players McKnight, Cook, Ford and Smyth moving on.

Former Pilkington boss Jack Edwards has now taken the reigns.

However one constant has remained.

Striker Sheriff Nije scores goal, he's now up to 25 for the season, helped by his brace in tonight's reverse fixture.

Fellow attacker Jonathan Nixon has three goals in his last two games, making him the in-form man to watch out for.

With the club in what feels like a transitional period, a 2-2 draw with City of Liverpool, giving them their first point in five months despite being 2-0 up at half time, they'll be looking for a big bounce back.

Team News

Town have had a rotten last month.

However, this hasn't been helped by suspensions and injuries that are now coming to an end.

Both Toby Coar and Ben Fletcher will help bolster the defence following the expiration of their bans.

Mitch Marshall is also now back from injury, having played last week.

If you missed the new signings, we'll do a quick breakdown for you here:

Winger Lucas Wane has rejoined the club from Padiham, Defender Harry Winstanley and joined the club from Trafford and Youngster Miller Megson joins on loan from Leeds United.

Keep your eye on the team tonight, and you may see another new but familiar face or two in there.

Despite all the good news, chances are Ryan McLean will be out of action tonight, after being forced off at half time with a knee injury at the weekend.

Luke Smith's suspension will begin on Saturday.
