The Opposition

Charnock Richard had a fantastic 23/24 season.

The Villagers won six games in nine days at the end of the season to steal a play off place from the clutches of Kendal Town, gaining national attention.

However, they were beaten 1-0 at Gigg Lane as Bury won their place in the final

Top scorer Rustam Stephens also moved to Bury in the summer.

They began the new season with a 0-0 draw with newly promoted South Liverpool.

No doubt Tuesday's encounter will be as feisty as ever.
