Information for visiting supporters
It's no secret that Bury are well supported.
As such, we advise arriving early to avoid issues at the turnstile.
As for a pubs, the best two in Longridge in close proximity to the ground are Wilfrid's Club and The Towneley arms.
Wilfrid's are kindly offering member prices for Bury supporters on matchday before and after the game.
There are limited parking options in the football club park making it a less than ideal option for Bury supporters.
However Longridge Civic Hall are offering loads more parking spaces round the back of the Hall which also happens to be just a ten minute walk to the ground.
Longridge cricket club is also offering parking for all supporters, as are Wilfrid's club.
We ask that anyone driving to the game please not park on the adjoining street and to be considerate of our neighbours or any locals.
Other than that, we look forward to welcome the Shakers to Longridge.
The Opposition
Originally formed in 1885, Bury FC have a rich history in the Football League.
They had just been promoted to Sky Bet League Two before unfortunately being expelled from the Football League in 2019 due to financial mismanagement.
However, thankfully in 2022, it was announced that Bury FC would be making a return after merging with a phoenix club who had operated under a similar name for the past year.
They announced their return to Gigg Lane and return they did.
The Shakers are a lot more refined than the last time Town faced off against them.
Following some recruitment in the summer, Bury sit on a goldmine of a playing squad for this level.
We could do our usual one to watch but we feel as though we'd be going on a bit, so instead we'll mention Morgan Homson-Smith who departed Longridge for Bury in June.
Unfortunately, Morgs has been suffering with an ankle injury and is yet to make his debut.
We can only imagine the flair and explosive attacking power he will bring to an already jam packed attack, including such incredible talents as Rustam Stephens, Brian Ly, Rueben Jerome, Tanaka Cherera and Bebeto Gomes who has quite the run of attacking form from rightback.
Their most recent two results are a stark reminder as to where abouts Bury are in terms of quality, following a FA Cup win over National League North Radcliffe and a league win high-flying Chadderton.
The Shakers are flying with no sign of slowing down.
They sit only 4th due to so many games in hand, however they are yet to lose a game in any competition this season.
Could Town put an end to their unreal run of results?

Team News
As established Ashcroft's young guns have quite a task ahead of them.
They are however, bolstered by the return of defender Connor Newton, adding more options at the back.
Attacker Owen Watkinson is set to miss out again following the attacker's reoccurring hamstring injury.
The Reds will be looking to recapture the run of form that got them so high in the first place.
The boys will see the past three games merely as a speedbump, victory over Holker Old Boys in the Macron Cup on Tuesday hopefully represents the return of good fortune.
However, Longridge are the only side in the Premier Division yet to draw a game this season.
New signing Jefferson Goncalves will be looking to make another appearance following his debut on Saturday's defeat at Abbey Hey.
The tricky winger made the move over from fellow Premier Division side Colne, where he earned himself three man of the match awards already this season.
