The Ridge look to take a fantastic bank holiday Monday performance into tonight's game.

Town led twice at 2nd placed Ramsbottom, but couldn't hold on for a big three points.

Despite that, Lee Ashcroft's men are still going in search of a first win in 7 games.

However, to do so they'll have to overcome a side with an abundance of attacking talent.

This is the first of three successive home matches that are listed below.

AFC Liverpool (H) - Wednesday 8th April
Abbey Hey (H) - Saturday 11th April
Burscough (H) - Tuesday 14th April

Help us finish on a high.

To any travelling AFC Liverpool fans, Wilfrid's club is offering member prices to any and all home and away fans.

It's just a ten minute walk from the ground.

Thank you to SWC Steel Erection for sponsoring tonight's game.

The Opposistion

As mentioned, AFC Liverpool like to score goals.

Striker Elliot Taylor has scored 36 goals so far this season, putting him 2nd in the NWCFL goalscoring charts.

Winger Caleb Jones is also a substantial threat.

2024/25's NWCFL player of the year has scored 20 goals so far and has a crazy 11 MOTM awards.

So going forward, they can cause problems for any side.

Experienced goalkeeper Ben Barnes will no doubt give Town issues at the other end of the pitch too, as he did in the reverse fixture.

Despite a difficult start to the season, the Little Reds are 13th having gained some mid-season impotance.

After a good start to the reverse fixture, the Ridge were defeated 2-0 by AFC.

Town will have to be at their best to defeat one of the division's form sides.
