We are delighted to confirm that Cllr Lee Jameson has been elected chair of Longridge Town FC.
We would like to send our extended thanks to Jim Parker for being our chairman for the past three years.
Jim will now officially take up the role of Life Honorary President.
Lee offered his thoughts on his new role at the football club:
"It is an honour and a privilege to be elected Chair of Longridge Town Football Club.
We have a great team both on and off the pitch and I can only see the club moving forward.
I am here to listen to the supporters of the club to find out what they want from us as a Community Football Club.
If we all work together this can only make a strong LTFC and anything is possible.
I also want to pay tribute to outgoing Chair of LTFC Jim Parker who has served with dignity.
I also want to pay special tribute to the current committee, players and management as without them, there would be no Longridge Town FC".
We look forward to the next era of the Ridge as we continue to grow.
Onwards and upwards!
