The Gallagher Allison name is already well known at Longridge Town, with Jonas' brother, Calen, representing the club for two successful seasons before earning a move to Atherton Collieries. Now Jonas is ready to make his mark in the red shirt.

Despite being just 17 years old, Jonas has caught the eye throughout pre-season with a series of energetic and fearless performances. His pace, athleticism and willingness to stretch defences have made a real impression in Ashey.

Ashey believes the youngster has all the attributes to become an exciting player for the club:

"Jonas is a really strong lad for his age and loves running in behind a defence. He will give us pace on the right-hand side, and he will grow and grow this season."

Still at the beginning of his footballing journey, Jonas arrives with huge potential and will be looking to continue his development while challenging for opportunities throughout the campaign.
