After joining the Ridge on loan in October from Sky Bet League One club Blackpool, Kai Crowe made 21 appearances and earning four man of the match awards.
We caught up with the young shot stopper to get his thoughts on his time at Town.
"Over the time I've been on loan, it's been good, I think it's been very valuable and I've learnt a lot, I've had a lot of good moments, and a lot of moments where I could've done better but you have to learn how to react to things and see what to do in different situations, so it's been good overall.
Kai saved two penalties and kept three clean sheets as Town entered a difficult second half of the season.
Three of his MOTMs were in the space of a week, going three games in a row.
He says his time at Longridge was a massive learning experience.
"I think the main thing I've learnt is how to deal with crosses because non league is completely different from academy football, it's so much more direct so for me I've learnt how to deal with crosses and through balls.
"Also, I've learnt how to come into a team, like Longridge obviously have been together for a while and quite a lot of the lads know each other so it's learning how to fit into different environments when you need to.
"I think, my first game I was alright but I slowly got better so my first game was an eye opener of what men's football is and I think over the course of my loan I slowly improved each week.
"I've seen different pitches and seen what the real game is like compared to under 18s and academy football."
We'd like to thank Blackpool FC for making the loan happen and we wish the promising Kai all the very best for the future.
