Barnoldswick, affectionately named ‘The Sewermen’ come into the game off a tough run of fixtures. Most recently tomorrows opponents were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Winsford after being pegged back by a late penalty for their opponents. That means following Longridge’s defeat of Avro on Wednesday the two sides go into tomorrows clash level on points therefore a win for ‘The Ridge’ will allow them to leapfrog Barnoldswick into the top 10 in the division.

The fixture will provide an opportunity for Longridge to exact revenge on their opponents for the reverse fixture earlier this season in which Barnoldswick ran out 5-2 winners at The MRG. It was a low point in the season for Town as they finished the game with 9 men, and summer signing Conor Ready suffered a season ending injury. This time around Longridge will be looking to build on their display from Wednesday night which saw them get back on the winning trail courtesy of goals from Jack Anderton & Tre Pemberton.
