Flynn joined Town last season from Bamber Bridge and went on to be a mainstay in our back line, taking over the captains armband in the process. A leader on and off the field it was of paramount importance to Town that the experienced defender stayed on.

Manager, Lee Ashcroft went on to stress how key Flynn is to his plans adding the following: “Flynny is a proper Captain, a great player and a top lad. His experience will be vital with the young lads around him, and he’s one of those players that I know I can trust. He’s my voice and ears out on the pitch and I’m delighted he’s signed on for another season at The Ridge.”
