Longridge celebrates its 25th anniversary with a game against Bolton Wanderers

Longridge Town are delighted to be celebrating its 25th birthday this year with a fixture against newly promoted Sky Bet League One side Bolton Wanderers.

The match will take place at the MRG on Saturday 10th July at 3pm.

Tickets are now completely sold out.

Please note this fixture is all ticket and there will be no on the day/gate sales. Check for regular updates on our website and social media platforms for further information.

This is a great opportunity for everyone involved with Longridge Town past, present and future to come together and celebrate the club's 25th anniversary, the achievements along the way and the progress being made to date as we continue to grow.

The day will double up as a family fun day with various off the field forms of entertainment on offer including numerous catering outlets and soft play for children, all of which, including gates to the ground, will open at 12pm.

Eight voluntary stewards are required for the fixture, please email davewalkerltfc@gmail.com to register your interest.

No on-site parking will be available to supporters besides disabled access, though the nearby Civic Hall will be offering parking for both home and away supporters for £2. The local authorities ask that all attending are mindful of the active roadside parking restrictions.

At the request of Lancashire County Council, supporters above the age of 12 attending the Longridge Town vs Bolton Wanderers pre-season game at the Mike Riding Ground on Saturday are requested to bring proof of a negative lateral flow within the 24/48 hours prior to the fixture upon entry.

According to Lancashire County Council’s Public Health Department, a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) will be evidenced either by text or email message from the national system and results are self-reported into the national system.

We look forward to welcoming both Longridge Town fans back and Bolton Wanderers fans to the MRG for this special occasion and their first game in front of their fans since March 2020.
