Town to face AVRO or Vauxhall Motors in Macron Challenge Cup

Longridge received a bye in the first round of the Cup, and will host the winners of AVRO v Vauxhall Motors in the second round.

Town have history with both clubs, with AVRO keeping in the battle for the First Division North until the final day of last season, and Vauxhall Motors visited the MRG in the first round qualifying of the FA Vase last campaign.

Town will find out their opponents on 19 October, when the first round of fixtures are scheduled to be played, with the second round fixtures taking place on 9 November.
