Longridge Town's second NWCFL fixture of the 2020/2021 season against Litherland Remyca, scheduled to be played on the evening of Wednesday 21st October at the MRG, has been postponed due to the current tiered lockdown restrictions.

With both Lancashire and Merseyside now in the third of the government's lockdown tiers, the decision has naturally been taken to postpone the game until a later date when restrictions hopefully, will have lifted on both counties.

Restrictions unfortunately, are beginning to have an impact on clubs abilities to play one another with fans present or not, which is a shame for all involved, though safety must and will come first.

Providing the metaphorical goalposts do not move before then, Longridge will next play Warrington Rylands at home on Saturday 24th October. Fixture and ticket information will be announced and released respectively in due course.
