Longridge are looking to take their impressive form on the road, with a second ever trip to Pilkington FC.

A win could potentially take Town back into the playoff spots, given results going their way on the night.

The Opposition

The Pilks are looking for a stronger season following a wobbly end to the 23/24 season.

They had a great start, beating the Ridge 3-0 at home along the way, but suffered a 4-1 defeat at Inglewhite Road in the reverse fixture during their slump.

They've not had a bad start this year, but have won most of their points through draws so far.

However, they've come against good sides, including the division's top two.

Top scorer Ryan Beigan (5) has scored some very important goals and will look to add again on Wednesday.

Team News

Saturday's win over top of the league Ramsbottom pushed Town back up to 7th place.

Jack Anderton did well to recover from his recent injury to take part in that game, scoring in the last minute to confirm the 3-1 victory.

Charlie Aston will be looking to start a third consecutive game following his recovery from his two year ACL injury with Wednesday's game probably too soon for Mitch Marshall.
