The midfielder says the squad will put the disappointment of last weekend behind them and focus on getting three points on the road.

“We’ve been very unlucky in cups over the past few seasons.

“Last Saturday we got off the mark well, Richie scored in the first few seconds of the game but then after six minutes he was sent off, it was always going to be hard after that.

“I thought we did alright and kept ourselves in it but it was always going to show after a while and I think we just ran out of steam.

“As the game went on they made the extra man count, you could tell we were tiring a little bit but we still dug in and did ok.

“We’re better than conceding from corners and I think we let ourselves down there.

“We have to focus on getting back to the form we’ve been enjoying in the league.

“We’ve been very good in the league recently, we do have a few injury problems but we have a good squad and other lads will be looking to take their chances and show what they can do.”

Town travel to Cougar Park to face Steeton tomorrow with a 3pm kick-off scheduled.
