Match Report: AVRO 3-2 Longridge Town

Having gone behind early on, James Sloane equalised after good work from Jay Hart.

Town conceded again just before half time to go in 2-1 down at the break, but a superb individual goal from Richie Allen saw them draw level with 20 minutes remaining.

Both sides then missed chances to take all 3 points before a harsh free kick was awarded to the home side in the 5th minute of time added on.

From 20 yards out the ball flicked off the end of the wall, wrong footing Lee Dovey, and flew into the net. 3-2 AVRO.

Town now have three home games on the trot starting with the visit of Prestwich Heys next Saturday, and currently sit 8th in the Hallmark Securities NWCFL Division One North
