The season draws to a close as Holker Old Boys travel from Cumbria to the MRG.

The two sides met back in September at Rakesmoor, with Town running out 11-2 winners on that day, with hat-tricks from Brad Wicks and Jay Hart, as well as goals from Ryan McKenna, Gary Basterfield, Paul Turner, Danny Wilkinson and Harvey Close.

Town will be hoping to end a brilliant first season in the North West Counties Football League with a win, after drawing 1-1 in their last game away at Garstang on Easter Monday.

Holker Old Boys will be looking for their third consecutive win, after beating AFC Blackpool 5-0 last time out.

Holker currently sit 18th in the First Division North, with Longridge sitting second, one point behind AVRO going into the final game of the season. Town would need to better AVRO’s result to become champions, with the Oldham based side playing away at AFC Liverpool.

Whatever the outcome, the boys have had a fantastic first season playing at step six and we would appreciate all support going into the final game.

Admission prices are as follows:

Adults: £5
Concessions: £4
Under 16s: Free

This Is Our Town will be available for free upon entry to the MRG.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm.
