It’s Derby Day for Lee Ashcroft’s men as they make the short journey to the Riverside on Easter Monday.

The two sides have met twice already this campaign, with Garstang coming out on top on both occasions.

Garstang made their first of two visits to the MRG back in October in the First Division Cup.
The sides played out a 1-1 draw with today’s hosts going through to the next round after a penalty shootout.

Derby Day came around again on Boxing Day, which saw a rare home defeat for Town as Garstang won 0-3.

Ashey will be hoping to build momentum on Saturday’s win over Nelson, which saw his side go 2-0 down in the first half before goals from Richie Allen, Tom Ince and Paul Turner completed a second half comeback to earn Town all three points.

Town sit top of the NWCFL First Division North, two points ahead of AVRO who have a game in hand. Garstang currently sit seventh in the table, being beaten 4-1 by Prestwich Heys at Adie Moran Park on Saturday.

The gates will open at the Riverside at 1.15pm, with ticket prices as follows:

Adults - £4
Concessions - £3
Under 16s – Free

The matchday programme is also available for £2.

Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm.
