The Opposition

Colne have had a tough first season back in the North West Counties.

Multiple postponements have left them with 6 games to play following Saturday's.

They will be played over the course of 14 days.

As for ones to watch, former Longridge Town attacker Owen Watkinson is currently plying his trade for Colne, managing three goals this season.

However, strike partner Lucas Weaver has bagged a whopping 36 goals in 39 matches this season, almost half of Colne's goals this season.

Winger William Hasler-Cregg is also one to keep an eye on following his performance back in Town's 3-2 over Colne in October 2023.

Mathematically speaking, Paul Weller's side can still make the playoffs, however given what they would need to happen to achieve this, a building mid table finish will probably do just fine.

Team News

Tottington United goalkeeper Brad Sullivan has joined the Ridge for the rest of the 2023/24 season.

The youngster made a great first impression despite defeat in Litherland, as he made a stunning five saves in the opening 30 minutes to help weather the storm.

Winger Malick Tanou will be looking to face up to his old side on Saturday and get back to his goalscoring ways.
